MatchWorks set to provide more services in Victoria

MatchWorks, a branch of Geelong-based disability service provider Karingal, this week won a Federal Government tender to provide even more job services across Melbourne and regional Victoria to assist people with disabilities, injury or health conditions to gain employment.

MatchWorks grows significantly

MatchWorks has also been awarded an additional five offices throughout the Job Services Australia tender process which was announced on April 2. From July 1, 2009 MatchWorks will have a total 19 sites throughout Victoria, which reflects a 45% growth for the organisation.

To a parent who has been busy raising a child on their own and out of the workforce for several years, finding paid employment can represent an almost overwhelming challenge. A group of 29 Geelong single parents were selected to join the pilot MatchWorks program; designed specifically to support job-seekers and place them in flexible, family-friendly employment.
