Futures for Young Adults offers support to students with a disability,who are 18 years and over, as they begin the transition from school into their adult lives.
The program:
- Provides a range of options including post-secondary education and training, recreation and leisure activities, day support activities, independent living skills training and community access
- Is flexible and responsive to individual needs and interests
- Can consist of a ‘package’ of services for an individual in relation to their needs
- May provide supervision and physical care if necessary
- Links people into activities which are offered to the community
- Aims to maximise personal independence and functioning
Futures for Young Adults is available in the Geelong, Colac and Warrnambool regions.
