Barwon disAbility Resource Council
REQUEST FOR SUPPORT – PRO BONO QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Barwon Disability Resource Council (BDRC) is a not-for-profit advocacy group championing the interests of people with disabilities in the region for the past 35 years.
It currently provides individual advocacy, information and resources, as well as many other important services for people with disabilities, their families and carers.
Located centrally at 48 McKillop Street Geelong, BDRC has now outgrown its building, and the building itself needs updating and accessibility improvements.
BDRC is currently pursuing capital redevelopment over the next two years and is keen to develop the current building to a two-story building that will better suit its current and future needs.
Formal planning approval from the City of Greater Geelong is currently being sought for the redevelopment.
BDRC are seeking the services of a pro bono Quantity Surveyor to assist their architect with final costings for the redevelopment project. If you are interested in assisting with this project, of real and practical benefit to many in our community, we urge you to contact us.
